Have you thought of using colouring
pencils to shade the chart and the corresponding instructions. I use cool colours (blues,purples,greens)for cable to back and hot colours(red,orange,yellow)for cable in front. this helped me a lot.
That Quilt is gorgeous!!!! My friend makes quilts and I have to tell her about your moms quiting. So amazing!
