We removed wallpaper, painted, removed carpet and refreshed the wood floors.
We bought some nice curtains at Ikea and this weekend I'll work on hemming them.

WOW! The place is looking fantastic! Having just gone through ALL of that myself last January I know how much you are going through. I'm amazed you have time to knit at all!
Of course I was in a rush to get out of my sister's basement when I was renovating, so I had fires burning till midnight or later, sometimes on work nights too. Isn't it amazing what a coat of paint *or if you like some rich colors like I do, several coats of paints* can do to a place!
Hey, I think your previous own shopped at the same paint store as my previous owner! I'll have to remember to bring my before photos on Monday and you can see the pink I couldn't wait to cover up! A pink fireplace *boggle* My sister and I have a saying for things like that... "At what point did THIS sound like a good idea???" *giggle*
I really love the green in the dining room!
Oh forget... I have been looking for one of those blow up punchable clowns!!!! I joke with my assistant at work all the time that I want one of those to keep in my office!
Any idea of where I can find one???
Looks FANTASTIC.
Nice job!
Wow! Awesome job Theresa!! You guys have done wonders - it looks fabulous. Nothing like a little home improvement to eat up the knitting time, eh? :)
Wow!! Everything looks great! The floors look amazing!
I can't believe the before pics! It's like pepto bismal threw up in there! The improvement you made are amazing!
That looks great - what gorgeous floors! And I love the green color on the walls! Great job!
So so cute! you are a busy girl!
Wow, what a transformation! Great job!
Beautiful!!!!
Super nice job! I especially love the sage green paint on the walls. The one with the fireplace. What color is that/brand? So soft and pretty.
It looks amazing! The first transformation up there is spectacular.
